Pomann Sound is wrapping up all the audio post on Kobold, a new supernatural thriller set in Manhattan.

After inheriting his father’s haunted brownstone, a man uncovers a chilling family secret with roots reaching back to Germany’s Dark Ages. To break a sinister ancestral pact, he must confront his darkest fears—and the monstrous forces that have haunted his family for generations.

We recently welcomed Nicolas Szent and Maille-Rose Smith to Pomann Sound for an ADR session on the film. Constantine Werner is the director and writer!

I also went out to see Paul Haslinger and his engineer, Travis Smith, out in LA.

🎧 Pomann Sound's Max Conklin is hard at work on Season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort, handling sound design and final mix duties for the hit series.

This season, six couples who have reached relationship-breaking points spend three weeks in the storybook charm of the English countryside. At the regal and romantic Thornbury Castle, the couples attempt to rebuild trust, revive their passion, and decide whether their relationships can survive.

Looking for a ridiculous Halloween Movie. It's free on Tubi- Doom Asylum.
This was the first movie I ever worked on. It was 1986, I was 28 years old!
I sat in the booth trying to figure out which fruit to use for a good flesh-cutting sound. The watermelon was the winner!!!
I had a 1-inch 16-track, a 1/2 4-track, and a center track 1/4" machine. I synced them up together with an Adam Smith synchronizer. I mixed it in 12 hours. From 6 at night to 6 in the morning.
Those were the days!!!!!
