ENCUENTRO NYC unites New York City's Colombian talent every year, founded in 2003 by Colombian pianist, composer and bandleader Pablo Mayor, the festival celebrates the richness of the traditions of Colombian music, and its modern innovations Founded in 2003 by Colombian pianist, composer and bandleader Pablo Mayor, the festival celebrates the richness of the traditions of Colombian music, while at the same time supporting the innovations and developments of these traditions. Past artists have featured special guests Toto la Momposina, Plectro Trio, and such local artists as MAKU SoundSystem, Edmar Castaneda, Lucia Pulido, Marta Gomez, Samuel Torres, Hector Martignon, Pablo Mayor's Folklore Urbano Orchestra, Gregorio Uribe Big Band, Grupo Chonta, Grupo Rebolu, Sebastian Cruz, Alejandro Florez, La Cumbiamba ENeYe, Johanna Castaneda y su Grupo Llanero, and Chia's Dance Party, among others. The Encuentro is a grass roots production of the husband and wife duo, musicians Pablo and Anna Mayor, and celebrates its 10th anniversary this 2013. ENCUENTRO NYC's broader mission to promote Colombian culture in the United States continues to have an impact internationally, transforming the face of Colombia through the voices of its artists young and old.

Existen personas inescrupulosas que usando mi voz, quizás ayudados por Inteligencia Artificial, hacen llamadas pidiendo dinero relacionado con envíos, usando documentos de la DIAN en Colombia y FedEx. Piden también su dirección y confirmación de número de documentos.
No estaré solicitando dinero a nadie, no se dejen engañar. Por favor reporte todo mensaje o llamada sospechosa
