Oh, what a night! Our journey through the looking glass was a huge success, thanks to our generous Realm community.

In addition to celebrating 20 years of supporting early-career playwrights, The Playwrights Realm announced an endowment fund, with a goal of raising $10 Million to fund 20 more years of making playwriting a sustainable career in the arts. Attendees got a sneak preview of our upcoming programs, including an Aspiring Playwrights conference and an immersive production by .miyeko.marinelli , “This is Not Not a Drill” coming to the streets of New York City this Fall.

Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Writers Block Party so special.

There’s a LOT to celebrate at The Realm this month because Realm Writers have productions all over the country and Canada, and are taking over The O’Neill Playwrights Conference with 11 Realm Writers as 2026 NPC Finalists!
