I’m still buzzing from the conversations I’ve had since my last post about coaching. It turns out, a lot of you are ready to stop stalling and start growing and leading, whether it’s your team or your own practice. The truth is that the move from where you are to where you want to be is rarely a solitary journey.
A coach isn’t just a cheerleader. A coach is your:
Mirror: To face the challenges you’ve been avoiding.
Architect: To build a roadmap that actually hits your goals.
Strategist: To reclaim your time and master team dynamics.
I’ve always leaned on coaching in my own career, and combining that experience with my training at Rutgers means I know one thing for sure: Confidence isn’t a gift; it’s a practice.
I still have a few more spots for discovery calls this month. Let’s see if we’re a fit!

Oculus by and spotted at Park Place subway station . Maybe I’ve not been through this station before but I haven’t seen these works! They were commissioned in 1999 which is interesting given how close the are to the former World Trade Center. I found this text on line
The work’s detailed renderings of the eye – the most telling, fragile and vulnerable human feature – offer a profound sense of intimacy within a public place. Together, the images create a sense of unity and flow: animating, orienting and humanizing the station. Oculus invites a dialogue between the site and those who move through it.

The former World Trade Center Station is situated at the northeast corner of the site. The station was flooded and closed to the public following the September 11, 2001 attack. The site was damaged but not destroyed, and it reopened eight months later with the work mostly intact. Oculus was recognized as “an unexpected monument” by the Wall Street Journal on September 11, 2003.

Oculus was realized in collaboration with the Roman mosaicist, Rinaldo Piras, Sectile.
Thanks
By the way there are some 300 of the eyes dotted around the station!
