SYNOPSIS: Theresa and Pam are lifelong friends, but lately Theresa has been seriously out of touch. Pam comes to NYC for a surprise visit for Theresa's birthday, and finds her distraught friend a chaotic mess. Adrift after losing her high powered job, Theresa has recently discovered a new-found purpose in life, a purpose which Pam finds slightly insane. But, Theresa is soon to discover that Pam has some craziness of her own. They battle to save their friendship, and in the end they find in each other a neglected and vital part of themselves. Right Down Broadway Productions has been created to bring together disparate elements of the theatrical community (Artists, Designers and Theatre Companies) to consolidate resources, revenues, experience and talent AND provide original, quality, theatrical entertainment to the public. New plays will be given a limited (4-6 week) run with productions supported by a realistic, professional budget. Regional theatre companies throughout the country will be invited to attend as a way of expanding their talent pool and discovering writers whose work is currently unknown to them. They will have the opportunity to take home a new play that fits well with the interests and needs of their communities. A prior New York City production allows these theater companies to benefit from word of mouth and reviews associated with promoting a play. This lightens the burden of the greater financial resource needed to produce new works. Right Down Broadway Productions is dedicated to fostering leadership and unity in the New York theater community and bringing high-quality, deserving, well-developed projects to the Off-Broadway Stage. Weaving together an imaginative group uniquely suited to each project, we provide opportunities for experienced and underserved theater professionals. Audiences are rewarded with exposure to fresh ideas, new faces as well as compelling, entertaining theatre.
