Friends,
For those of you who may not yet know, I have decided to step down as League Manager of Gotham City Karaoke League. This decision has not come lightly. I love this community, and the friends that I've made by being part of it. But the time has come to focus on other parts of my career and time in New York.
It has been one of the greatest pleasures I've ever had to be a part of this league from its inception, as a competitor in the first season and as an emcee, lead emcee, and league manager, respectively, in every season since. Karaoke, specifically this group of fellow enthusiasts, made moving back to New York after a long absence easier and for more enriching than I could have predicted. This community we have haveI've grown so much by being with you all, and by watching you all thrive and get such joy out of performing with an overabundance of passion. I look forward very much to watching the next chapter of the story we're writing unfold.
One of the new authors is your new league manager, Mason McCuskey. A good friend and tireless supporter of GCK even while he was still living across the country, he has the passion and the drive to keep GCK growing and and the good times rolling. So if you have not yet registered, it is now the time for you to do so. This season is going to be one of many firsts. So first, sign your team up.
I look forward to drinking and singing with you all, at the Mockingbird or wherever the night takes us. Until then, much love and many thanks.
