No words to express how grateful and moved I am today and every day. Thank you with all my heart for training and dancing with me. Your humanity, passion, spirit and beauty light up my life week after week. You inspire me to give of my highest Self and to keep growing and taking chances. I see your radiance and profound potential and am deeply honored to be a part of your journey. Thank you for opening your heart to me and entrusting me with your love for dance and your dreams. Some of you have started ballet in adulthood choosing to follow a long-held dream and choosing to defy self-doubt, limiting beliefs and stereotypes. You are brave and badass! You need no permission or approval from anyone- EVER. Keep nurturing that flame within you. May it burn down any perceived limits in your mind or personal history and mark the beginning of a revolution for you in which there are no labels and no limits. Many of you are also experienced / professional dancers having devoted DECADES of your life to dance. I share that story of sacrifice with you. You have deep roots, indomitable wings and too often, entrenched wounds from years of toxic ballet training that nearly broke you…. and yet, you survived….you’re still dancing knowing that more is possible for you, that your artistic voice is just beginning to make itself known without apology, explanation or need for approval; or, you’re coming back after a long absence heeding that call from within, telling you you’re NOT done. WE HEAL AND TAKE OWNERSHIP TOGETHER. This studio exists as a place of love, light, commitment to truth and human potential and REBELLION… offering excellence in formal training but not at the expense of your wild, wild heart. Formal world-class training and fierce, fearless individuality can thrive together. Rigorous high standards need not equate to fear, but instead, must speak to the best in us, which is always self-determination, authentic human expression and LOVE. You decide what’s possible for you. No labels. No limits. 🙌
