We are thrilled to announce the 11th edition of the New York Forum of Amazigh Film (NYFAF) on April 23. NYFAF is one of the most anticipated cultural events in the Amazigh diaspora calendar. This year's edition theme is "Exploring Tamazgha," and promises to be a rich and memorable gathering, bringing together filmmakers, artists, musicians, and community members in a shared space of cultural pride and artistic excellence.
The program features a compelling and carefully curated selection of Amazigh films from across Tamazgha and the diaspora. These films reflect the depth, diversity, and vitality of contemporary Amazigh storytelling and artistic vision. The full lineup is available on the attached flyers.
The screenings will be accompanied by a live Gnawa music performance and a warm cultural reception featuring traditional Amazigh food and beverages — a convivial opportunity to connect, share, and celebrate the ties that bind our community together. The event is more than a film forum. It is a celebration of Amazigh identity, resilience, and solidarity, and we hope it transpires into a space for dialogue, connection, and the affirmation of a living culture that continues to thrive across continents and generations. The event is free and open to all, and will be held at the Little Theater at LaGuardia Community College.

يسعدنا أن نُعلن عن الدورة الحادية عشرة لملتقى نيويورك للسينما الأمازيغية (NYFAF) ستقام في الثالث والعشرين من أبريل. يُعدّ هذا الملتقى من أبرز الفعاليات الثقافية للجالية الأمازيغية في المهجر. يحمل هذا العام شعار "استكشاف تامازغا"، ويعِد بأن يكون لقاءً ثريًا يجمع صنّاع الأفلام والفنانين والموسيقيين وخاصة الأكادميين والطلبة في فضاء جامعي يعكس البعد البيداغوجي لهذه التظاهرة إلى جانب بعدها التقافي.
يتضمّن البرنامج تشكيلةً مختارة بعناية من الأفلام الأمازيغية من مختلف أرجاء تامازغا والمهجر، تعكس عمق وتنوّع وحيوية السينما الأمازيغية المعاصر ورؤيتها الفنية. يمكن الاطلاع على القائمة الكاملة للأفلام في المنشورات المرفقة.
يُرافق عروضَ الأفلام أداءٌ موسيقي حيّ لفرقة كناوة، فضلاً عن حفل مأدبة ثقافية دافئ تتضمّن أطعمة وأشربة أمازيغية وهي فرصة جميلة للتواصل والمشاركة والاحتفاء بالروابط التي تجمع أبناء مجتمعنا.
يعد NYFAF فعالية أكثر من مجرد ملتقى سينمائي؛ إنها احتفاء بالهوية الأمازيغية والصمود والتضامن، وهي أيضا فضاء للحوار والتواصل وتأكيد حضور ثقافة حيّة تواصل ازدهارها ومقاومتها عبر القارات والأجيال. الدخول مجاني ومفتوح للجميع، وستُقام الفعالية في المسرح الصغير بكلية LaGuardia Community College.
