Everybody Nose NYC Official NYC Chapter of the EVERYBODY NOSE Clown Troupe Our form of clowning is based on techniques developed by Eli Simon, author of The Art of Clowning.

Everybody Nose NYC is the East Coast branch of a clown troupe founded by cARTel: Collaborative Arts LA in 2008. Each of our clowns is unique to its performer, and "born" in the instant it's seen in its red nose. By remaining completely silent, maintaining constant eye contact with the audience and responding to that interaction on a purely instinctual level, our clowns bring an exciting brand of vulnerability and honesty to their interactions both on and off stage. Though they're creatures distinctly different from the everyday people you meet on the street, you'll find them equally compelling, and a lot more accepting of your stares. Following in the steps of Everybody Nose LA, ENNYC is currently putting up two live shows a year, running workshops for new members and interested amateurs, and gearing up to begin a school outreach program here in New York City.
