Cellist Cullen O’Neill introduces RELIC's newest program, "The Blood of the Rose" — an instrumental journey inspired by the myth of Venus and Adonis and the 1701 Peruvian opera La púrpura de la rosa.

Expect a dynamic range of Spanish and Latin American Baroque music—from energetic dance rhythms paired with live percussion to tragic, emotional movements that capture the heartbreaking arc of the myth.
