Sad but not surprised. I'm sad for the gamers who purchased the digital copies. I'm sad for gamers period. I think all of us at Triple Threat Comics are sad because we'll never have physical copies of Codename: Hunter the Video Game or Soul Eraser the video game. We would have loved game developers like Art of Play or Tribute Games to bring our comics to life in a video game. Such as life. Instead, we'll spend this next year making sure we keep our promises to all of you, our fans. We WILL deliver epic stories. To the gaming world, you deserve better. We all do.

Tom Warren of The Verge highlighted emails Sony has been sending to some PlayStation users reminding them of the company’s terms for digital content. PlayStation’s terms state that digital software is licensed, not sold, meaning players receive a personal license to use the content rather than ownership of the software itself.
The emails have drawn additional attention because they are being received as the protest begins amid backlash over Sony’s move away from physical game discs. The licensing terms are not new, but their timing has reignited discussion around digital ownership.
