It is with great sadness that we have to announce that we will be ceasing operations. Over our almost 7 years, we have had the opportunity to collaborate with many beautiful and thoughtful artists. Meet 🦋✨ | Robert Rubama will be performing & presenting in Terre Dance Collective's Layers V.5 performances taking place TONIGHT at AT 6:30 & 8:30 pm.
Robert Rubama is a graduate of George Mason University with a BFA in Dance. They have worked with Haus of Bambi, Groundworks Dance Theater, Carolyn Dorfman Dance, LaneCo Arts, Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, and Alejandro Cerrudo. They were an artist in Residence at The National Building Museum, The Floor on Atlantic, and Homeport Art House. Robert works with Orange Grove Dance, Yin Yue Dance Company, and Flockworks Dance. He is the Founder and Artistic Director of Terre Dance Collective. Robert has choreographed for Company E Dance, Spark Movement Collective, Bucknell University, Dogwood Dance Project, Cleveland Dance Project, and Jane Franklin Dance. Robert is an animal lover, a daydreamer, and loves the color black.

Meet .always 🦋✨ | Alyssa Myers will be performing & presenting in Terre Dance Collective's Layers V.5 performances taking place at on Jan 26th @ 6:30 & 8:30 pm. Tickets can be found in our bio!
Alyssa Myers is a freelance dancer and choreographer based in New York City. Since graduating from USC Kaufman in 2020, she has created choreographic works for MOVE|NYC|, Utah Metropolitan Ballet, Falco Dance Company, Traverse City Dance Project, and Terre Dance Collective. Her work has been presented in New York at Gibney 280, TADA! Theater, Dixon Place, and Paul Taylor. In the spring of 2022, Alyssa was an artistic collaborator for Jodie Gate’s NYU Residency Fellowship serving to research inclusivity and identity within balletic structures. She was also the 2022 artistic recipient of Converge2Emerge’s fellowship program. This is her third year dancing with Terre Dance Collective.

Meet & 🦋✨ | Jesse & Emily will be performing in Terre Dance Collective's Layers V.5 performances taking place at on Jan 26th @ 6:30 & 8:30 pm. Tickets can be found in our bio!
Jesse Arnst was born in China and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She went to Fiorello LaGuardia H.S. Jesse then attended George Mason University (BFA) under the direction of Susan Shields, performing works by Ivan Perez, Lucinda Childs, Doug Varone and more. In 2021 she participated in Nuova Officina Della Danza, Torino, Italy. Here she presented “enoone” and performed works by Maya Selezena and James Finnemore. Jesse is currently working in partnership with Emily Dean, most recently on an evening length work buoy.
Emily Dean grew up in Brooklyn NY, starting as a competitive gymnast, she began her dance journey at Fiorello LaGuardia HS and The Martha Graham Dance School, under the guidance of Blakeley White-McGuire. She attended SUNY Purchase and Beijing Dance Academy performing works by Martha Graham, Ohad Naharin, Joseph Hernandez, and more. Since graduating, Emily has performed alongside 2nd Best Dance Company. She now dances happily alongside her longtime friend, Jesse Arnst creating pieces for joy and healing.

Meet 🦋✨ | Marina Vianello will be presenting & performing in Terre Dance Collective's Layers V.5 performances taking place at on Jan 26th @ 6:30 & 8:30 pm. Tickets can be found in our bio!
Marina Vianello is a dance artist, choreographer, and arts administrator based in New York City.  She grew up in Kansas City, MO and graduated magna cm laude with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Global Systems from George Mason University, where she was awarded an annual Dance Talent Scholarship. Throughout college she was cast in pieces by Alejandro Cerrudo, Robert Battle, Lar Lubovitch, Susan Shields, Christopher d’Amboise, and David Grenke. Professional performance credits include the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Yoo & Dancers, JKing Dance Company, and As Arts NY Dance. She has performed internationally at the Châteaux en Fêtes (Festival of Castles) in Dordogne, France and will be returning for their 2024 festival. She currently dances professionally with Mari Meade Dance Collective, Arsenal Movement Dance Project, Terre Dance Collective, and Ballaro Dance. Next month her piece “Reveries” will be presented at the “Modern Night at the Gem” performance in Kansas City. She also serves as the administrative assistant for Moulin/Belle, an arts residency center in France, and as the Booking Director for Pony Box Dance Theatre. (marinavianello.com)

New York City based dance artists, Olivia Passarelli and Sophie Gray-Gaillard, began collaborating in 2021 to form five two Dance Company. five two’s work has been featured at Ailey Citigroup Theater, Mark Morris Dance Center, Tufts University, Briggs Opera House, the Emelin Theater, Peridance’s KNJ Theater, Arts on Site, Triskelion Arts,  KYL/D’s Dance Center, and more. five two was awarded the Directors’ Choice Award at the Spring for Spring Dance Festival and was selected for the SharedSpace Program at Mark Morris Dance Group. This past September, they presented a full-evening of their work at The Mark O’Donnell Theater.
