Join us tomorrow for a dialogue with Coby Kennedy on the narratives behind Shielded, his solo exhibition at C24 Gallery. Through the innovative use of bulletproof Kevlar and industrial materials, Kennedy creates an imagery that evokes both protection and ancestral power, an exploration of diasporic resilience and the legacies of Black identity.

Rooted in personal transformation and an Afrofuturist visionary ethos, his work bridges myth, history and the present, reflecting the tenderness of new parenthood and the enduring struggle for survival. We look forward to welcoming you to this conversation with the artist about vulnerability, art, and strength.
