A note from Composer/Lyricist Ben Boecker:

One of my favorite images from our show is this picture of Hunter and Cedarella. I love it so much because it reminds me of an illustration from A.A. Milne’s “The House at Pooh Corner”…

“Wherever they go, and whatever happens to them on the way,” the book says in its final chapter, “In that enchanted place on the top of the Forest a little boy and his Bear will always be playing.”

Our production is closing, and though I cried through the entire first two scenes yesterday, I was sad that it was ending, but I am also SO grateful that it has happened.

Because from this moment on, wherever we go, and whatever happens to us on the way, in that enchanted place, in the Magic Land Woods, a witch and her extreme gardener will always be sitting, gazing at a waterfall, and discovering what it feels like to be in Real True Love”
