I’m driving minding my business when I look ahead and see this dude on a motorcycle… with a full assault rifle just casually strapped to his back 😭 Like excuse me?? Why is this part of the commute??

I know people are allowed to do whatever in some places, but seeing that while we’re all going 70 on the highway is NOT calming. My anxiety immediately clocked in for overtime.

Maybe I’m overreacting, but I don’t think “motorcycle + traffic + rifle” should ever be a normal combo. Someone please tell me you’d be just as uneasy seeing this in front of you.😐😐

this is the reason why my step son is out $15,000...My careless stepson left the door wide open on my minivan when I dropped him off for basketball, and the timing could not have been worse because there was an active snowstorm blowing through. When I came back, the inside of my car was covered in snow, soaked, freezing, and completely exposed because he couldn’t be bothered to close a door.

This is not something I’m letting slide. I’m tired of people acting like mistakes don’t have real consequences, especially when it involves my property and my safety. I don’t feel comfortable driving a car that’s been snowed into, potentially damaged, and compromised because of someone else’s carelessness, and I’m not going to pretend it’s fine just to keep the peace.

When I brought it up, he said,
“It’s not a big deal, it’s just snow.”

That was it for me. I’m talking to his mom, and I’m taking $15,000 out of his college fund to buy myself a new car. I have access to that fund, and whether he likes it or not, or whether his mom likes it or not, that money is covering the damage and the headache he caused. The fund may have been started and continued by her ex-husband, but actions have consequences, and I’m done being the only one absorbing them.😊😊😊
