Our Broadway productions include the currently running and Tony Award-winning “American Idiot” an adaptation of the superstar rock band Green Day’s multi-platinum album and “The Addams Family” starring Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth. Past Broadway productions have included the Tony Award-winning Stephen Sondheim revival “A Little Night Music”, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury (with
Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch in the recast). “A Raisin In The Sun” starring Sean Combs, which marks an historic Tony win for Phylicia Rashad as the first African-American to win Best Actress; Mel Brooks’ “The Producers,” which set box office records and won a record 12 Tony Awards including Best Musical; and Mel Brooks’ “Young Frankenstein”. In film, TEG’s production projects include the feature films in development “The Fifth Beatle” (www.fifthbeatlemovie.com) based on the life of Beatles’ manager Brian Epstein, and “Down & Dirty Pictures” adapted from Peter Biskind’s bestselling Hollywood expose; and in television, “Punk Rock Dad,” a forthcoming CBS sitcom based on Pennywise lead singer Jim Lindberg’s bestselling memoir/parenting manual. TEG is an owner of Axial Entertainment, a television production company whose show “How To Look Good Naked” (hosted by Carson Kressley of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”) received Lifetime TV’s highest ratings of all time. Current Axial shows include the Style Network’s “How Do I Look?” Joining the founders/creators of Blue Man Group, TEG helped to found Counts Media, a company that develops Immersive Entertainment Experiences such as “The Ride New York”. Finally, TEG is a part owner of The Box, a high-profile New York City celebrity nightclub and venue.
