I never respected that mindset. Real musicians don’t give their purpose an expiration date.
I salute the ones who kept working when nobody was watching. The ones who stayed true to themselves, handled their business and never had to sell out, compromise their character or belittle themselves to become successful.
Y’all are my heroes.
Shout out to the entire Will Power team. Shout out to my Brooklyn team. Shout out to the men and women who helped me build that studio and this company—physically, financially, creatively and spiritually.
I couldn’t possibly name everybody, but you know who you are.
