A Very Big Thank you from The Nite Church & A Murder of Crows!
It is hard to put into words but here it goes. We know going into planning such an undertaking the risk and stress that is always involved. Each year brings new adversity and new frustrations. From venues closing to bands unable to attend. To plagues or just plain stupidity. We as producers try not to show what is going on behind the scenes as it ruins the joy of what is to come. 10 years has taught us a lot of hard earned lessons and this year was the culmination of it all. Now that the smoke has cleared we can officially say that 2025 is the year of the Crow. We are thrilled and admittedly a little surprised by how seamless the whole week went and this is thanks to so many dedicated and passionate people from our wonderful culture.
Firstly there would be no Crows without the artists, a lot of which flew from far away just to be here. Not a single missed note, not a single weak performance. Each band needed to be here to make this all work. Thank you!
Pink Turns Blue, Vision Video, Ritual Howls, Altar De Fey, SOFT VEIN, Nox Novacula, Astari Nite, Past Self, Hallowed Hearts, Octavian Winters, The Long Losts (w/ George Grant and Luis Infantas of Black Rose Burning), and The Brickbats
To all our DJs, eager, experimental and fearless. Every year it’s a party because each and every one of them are legends in their own right and thankfully without the ego!
DJ martin oldgoth, Dave Bats, Patrick Cusack, Hi-Fi Hillary, Scary Lady Sarah, William Faith, DJ Mortasha Kinski, DJ Mistress McCutchan, Sean Detra, Miz Margo, Mark Moritat Splatter, Ralphie Nigma, DJ Kangal, DJ AsuraSunil, & Matt V Christ (we missed you DJ Cinis and Kate Mior)
A highlight this year were the venues and the The Bowery Ballroom staff as well. A ballet of professionalism. To say everything ran so smoothly is underselling the talent of the whole Bowery staff. A special shout out to Juliette and Ryan and his team of audio commandos! Thanks once again to our incredible family at TV Eye NYC for helping us kick the festival off the best way possible!
A toast to our amazing merchandise squad, each one is a part of the Crows family. The kindness, the patience and the joy is unmatched and always grateful! Kristina, our merch leader with Kitty, Jenn, Birdie and Tig!
To our awesome propagandists, who add color and content.
Javi for merch
Avril of Beautiful Freak Cosmetics for The Morrigan AMOC soaps
Kevin of Vonesper Studios, Alice Teeple Photography and Alexa Jae Photography for photos.
And always we bow and scrape to all who cared enough to show up and be present under a banner of Love, Peace & Goth!
As Always, Quality Over Cruelty …see ya soon!
