Influx Press, the UK-based publisher dubbed “a lynchpin of the indie scene” by THE BOOKSELLER, was acquired by Diversion Publishing Corp. in March 2026. Today, they unveiled their Spring 2027 list, bringing a bold lineup of literary horror, weird fiction, psychological suspense, and speculative storytelling to readers.
Lauren du Plessis makes her literary debut with TENDER, a haunting blend of folkloric body horror, womanhood, and eco-anxiety set in England’s Somerset fens; acclaimed weird fiction author Joel Lane returns posthumously with MIDNIGHT BLUE, the long-awaited “lost novel” completing his post-industrial noir Blue trilogy; and Ben Tufnell delivers two striking works with the Kafkaesque suspense novel PARADISE and the acclaimed story collection AS IF.
Together, these books showcase what makes Influx distinctive: daring, unsettling, beautifully written fiction that pushes genre boundaries and explores identity, belonging, and our relationship with the natural world.
