Don’t trip over what’s behind you.

A reminder to myself for those nights I can’t sleep and my mind replays every dumb thing I ever said. 💀

After many months, the truth is finally here. Or, well by that I mean the ufo-themed sticker sheet I designed for StickerApp’s Artist of the Month is finally up on my website! I have a bunch of sheets left and I just added them to my shop if you missed these on November. Get them while they last, as these won’t be a regular in the shop and when they’re gone, they ain’t coming back! 🛸

A new Tarot card today, The Star. This is up there as one of my favorite cards. I have to do a better job sharing updates on this project, but I just sent a test batch of cards to print for some samples. Progress is happening slowly but surely.

Upright Meaning:
The upright Star card is one of positivity, motivation, and hope for the future. It often appears after a period of destruction and turmoil. You have weathered through the tough times, and you now have a renewed sense of self. With it comes a calm balance that will continue to build up your confidence and understanding of the world. You’re now entering a time for personal growth and development. Reach for the stars.

Reverse Meaning:
The reversed Star card means you’re feeling as though everything has turned against you. You may be feeling uninspired and overwhelmed by the things that once excited you. From a career perspective, this card asks you consider if it’s time to move on if you’re feeling disconnected from the work you do.

A new one I drew up with the prompt of “creativity unleashed” with birds and béziers.

I’m going to the Adobe 99U Conference coming up early next month in New York. If you’ll be there, let me know, it would be great to hang out with all the creative people! I’ll be giving out some stickers too. And you just might see this somewhere at the conference. 😉

On Friday, I spent the day painting in Brooklyn at . My second wall in the books! If you’re ever in East New York, it’s right off the Alabama J train stop on the corner of Georgia Ave and Fulton St. Most of the walls are getting repainted this weekend, so lots of new street art to come from artists and graffiti writers contributing their time and talent for the love of painting.

Special thanks to

Major thank you to for capturing footage of the process and assisting.

It’s easy to let the days slip by and get lost in the monotony, waiting for a particular day to come. But life is short and someday you might wish you could get those days back. Take a different way home, try something new, add something healthy to your routine, start the thing you’ve been putting off, don’t bail on the plans you have tonight. The little choices you make each day can compound into a lived life or an un-lived life.

I have plans for this design I’ll share soon that involves some spray paint. 😉

This quote “Don’t count the days, make the days count” is attributed to Muhammad Ali, and I never knew that prior to drawing something with it. I think I saw it as a sticker first a very long time ago. Quotes are weird like that.

I haven’t shared a swords tarot card in a while. Here’s the Eight of Swords. It’s generally considered the most doom and gloom suit in the deck.

Upright Meaning
The upright Eight of Swords can represent feeling trapped or backed into a corner by your circumstances. It’s a card of hopelessness and helplessness. You may feel like the situation you’re in is beyond your control, and you have no agency. However, this card warns that your thoughts and beliefs are not serving you. Negative thought patterns and self-limiting beliefs are what keep you confined. The fact is, you do have choices, even if you do not like them.

Reverse Meaning
The reverse Eight of Swords represents maturity and taking responsibility for yourself after a long struggle. You’re understanding how to break the cycle of negative self-talk, doubt, and limiting beliefs. This card encourages you to continue letting go of old patterns to continue to make your way to the light at the end of the tunnel.

The first tote bag I ever made was for back to back design conferences that I was going to table at. I thought they would be a good in-person product since you end up with so much stuff to carry around. I didn’t consider that at both conferences they’d be giving out tote bags, so I ended up sitting on these. 😂 Lesson learned.

With that said, I have these very stocked in my shop.
