📣 On view at Independent Art Fair New York () is a presentation of new and recent works by Massinissa Selmani, whose drawings unfold at the intersection of documentation and fiction.

Working in a precise, pared-down visual language, Selmani brings together fragments drawn from contemporary media, such as press imagery, architecture, and everyday gestures. The resulting scenes are at once enigmatic and quietly charged, exposing the absurdity of human behavior while oscillating between comedy and tragedy. Through an acute sensitivity to space, transparency, and omission, Selmani invites viewers to question how histories are constructed, circulated, and remembered.

📣 On view at Independent Art Fair New York () is a selection of new works by Jane Bustin, where abstraction is reimagined through a sensuous and materially layered approach.

Combining metal, wood, textiles, and photographic elements, Bustin constructs compositions that balance minimalist structure with intimate, almost tactile references. Drawing on a wide range of influences, from domestic rituals and beauty culture to historical iconography, her work folds the organic into controlled forms, echoing gestures of care such as laundering, baking, and assembling. Pale tones and reflective surfaces evoke spaces of quiet introspection, where objects shift between their material presence and their role as vessels for psychological projection.

📣 On view at Independent Art Fair New York () is a presentation of works by Berlin-based artist Via Lewandowsky, whose sculptural and multimedia practice explores the instability of language, perception, and communication.

Transforming everyday objects into disorienting, often humorous scenarios, Lewandowsky stages encounters where meaning slips and repetition becomes futile. His works, which are inflected by architectural thinking and shaped by a legacy of subversive performance, navigate the tension between the familiar and the foreign, the domestic and the absurd. Drawing on traditions of Dada, Surrealism, and Fluxus, he constructs poetic systems of breakdown, where misunderstanding itself becomes the central subject.
