Yikes! We really don’t want to come across as braggy but, ummm….. we were just nominated for two more awards! Yeah, we know. Enough with all the happiness. There’s been a lot of good news and we’re not used to it either.
- the folks behind the Young-Howze Theatre Journal, are gems the arts world and we are lucky to be in their orbit. This nomination means the world to us, especially since they came to one of our first performances and have watched us grow.
Results will be announced Monday evening. Regardless of who wins or loses, we’re gonna celebrate. We’re beyond grateful that our show is getting so much love and lucky that the cast and crew have become such a tight family.

So….. We already posted about this incredible honor but it was so unexpected, at the time we didn’t even have a photo of the whole cast!

OMG! We won for Best Book of a Musical!

For those who don’t know, that is the award for the best script, separate from the musical aspects of the production. This was so unexpected, we don’t even have a good photo of the whole cast. Hoping to remedy that soon…..

Thank you so much to everyone who voted for us. You made this happen and we are so thankful for your enthusiasm and support! We look forward to the future of the show and being able to share it with you!
While the award technically goes to Eve, as the writer, it truly belongs to all of us. The show would be nothing without the brilliant direction by Michael Hagins, inspired performances by Olivia Whicheloe, Alexandria Thomas and Emily Ross, the music by Brokeneck Girls lighting design by Adam Sherwin and the fantastic costumes by Tiffany Knight

WTF?
They still haven’t announced the winners? They have to verify the votes? We don’t even know when we’ll know???? This is torture!
More than anything, we want to thank everyone who voted for us and everyone who wished us well. It was a close contest and we’re thrilled to have come this far. It feels like a win, no matter what the results end up being.
We’re excited about the next leg of our journey, whatever it is, and look forward to sharing our adventures with you!

It’s a cruel, cruel world! Fortunately, bonds we’ve made over the course of this project far outweigh a little competition and we’re all thrilled just to be nominated.

Topping off an extremely exciting year, our show has been nominated for EIGHT Broadway World awards!
Our heads are still spinning!
We have no idea who nominated us but want to give our heartfelt thanks to whoever made this happen and to all who have been part of our journey. We have a wonderful cast and creative team, but equally important are the fabulous people in our audience.

Our little show is picking up steam!
