A monthly celebration of the Eurovision Song Contest, One of the world’s most watched music event! The Eurovision Song is an annual competition held among many of the active member countries of the European Broadcasting Union. Each member country submits a song to be performed on live television and radio and then casts votes for the other countries' songs to determine the most popular song in the competition. It is one of the longest running TV programs in the world! It is also one of the most watched non-sporting events in the world, with audience figures having been quoted in recent years as anything between 100 million and 600 million internationally. More than 1,200 songs already took part in the Eurovision Song Contest. Most winning songs were performed in English. This contest launched a music career to many artists such as Abba, Celine Dion, France Gall, Olivia Newton John, Ofra Haza, Cliff Richards, Julio Iglesias, Katrina and the Waves, and the recent Loreen (“Euphoria”) from Sweden. Join our (Euro)vision to recreate the “Euroclub”, a glamorous well-known club, in cities hosting the contest where many cheerful people from different countries and cultures unite to celebrate music,
camaraderie, and diversity.
