I spent five years making fluid acrylic pouring art, started printing it on clothing and bags, spent two months creating a website, and opened my online store in April of 2022. That summer, I had so much fun selling my pieces at pop-ups all over. I’m so grateful for all of the friends and family that supported me! My mom especially—the best hype-woman. She got so many of her friends to buy my things!!! But the hype, for me, was short-lived. I quickly found that I didn’t actually feel connected to this art form at all! Fluid acrylic pouring doesn’t feel like “mine.” I wasn’t really using my hands, fine-tuning paintings and drawings with detail the way I always did growing up. So I never truly felt connected to the clothing I produced either. I’ve kept the website up for the past three years, but it just doesn’t make sense to keep it anymore. I deactivated my Shopify account today. All of the pieces will still be accessible by order only, just not on a website—through me. Print-on-demand just isn’t the vibe.
I do have about five s/m kimonos left if you want to be a lucky owner!
This page is going to shift into *all* of my art.
