Got a theater kid who likes to write? This workshop is for them! ✍️🎭

Join Pulitzer Prize-nominated and internationally produced playwright, Christie Perfetti Williams, for this fun and creative beginner’s workshop on writing for the stage.

Using a series of unique prompts and exercises, we’ll learn about character development, plot structure, and themes. We’ll also explore writing techniques and address technicalities. Finally, we’ll open up our work to feedback and experience the joy of peer insight and inspiration!

Join Matilda Szydagis (Zelda from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) for this 1-day intensive crash course in the art of being a working actor. We will focus on knowing your type, auditions, and cold reading and touch base on the myriad technical obstacles to expect on set. We will also discuss the use of vocals and movement to enhance your performance and to help you start thinking outside of the box.
