Join Signature Theatre & Potluck Asian America on Saturday, October 10, from 4-7pm, to kick off performances of Lauren Yee’s KING OF THE YEES!
 
We’re excited to gather with our AANHPI community partners to celebrate the accomplishments of the NYC AANHPI Artist Community this past year, as well as resident artist Lauren Yee’s third production with Signature Theatre. There will be board games, raffle prizes, pizza, and more. Meet new friends and artistic collaborators!

The Yees are coming to Signature!🐲🌉🎇
Meet the cast of Lauren Yee’s hilarious and heartfelt KING OF THE YEES: Francis Jue, Jon Norman Schneider, David Shih, Maureen Sebastian, and Kelly Marie Tran.

Tony Award winner Francis Jue (YELLOWFACE) returns to the role of Larry Yee, while Kelly Marie Tran (STAR WARS:The Last Jedi and STAR WARS: The Rise of Skywalker) makes her Off-Broadway debut as Lauren.

Directed by Joshua Kahan Brody, KING OF THE YEES begins performances October 6 at Signature Theatre and runs through November 15.

Early access tickets are on sale now for subscribers and donors. Single tickets go on sale to the general public starting Sept 1!

RISE Summit is on Monday, September 14th, at the Pershing Square Signature Center. This year’s key speaker is Signature Theatre Resident Artist Melis Aker.
 
Signature Theatre is proud to host this year’s summit and uplift RISE Theatre Directory, a national personnel directory created to promote visibility of individuals who work backstage, behind-the-scenes, and in support of theatre-making. The directory is a public service tool, available to all, created with the knowledge that amplification is particularly powerful for those who are often overlooked, including but not limited to people of color, women, trans, nonbinary, deaf, and disabled theatre professionals. RISE Theatre Directory allows these professionals to be discovered and identified for employment and opportunities by producers, general managers, theaters and various employers.
 
RISE (Representation, Inclusion, & Support for Employment) Theatre is a program of Maestra Music.

Signature Theatre is hosting its Annual AANHPI Creatives Community Gathering on Saturday, October 10, 2026, 4 - 7PM. A full list of community partners will be published soon!
 
Enjoy pizza, dessert, and good cheer with fellow artists! Hangout with new friends and collaborators. There will also be a raffle for special prizes. Lauren Yee and Gaven D. Trinidad return as your hosts for this year’s gathering.
