🎬 Next up in New Orleans: Persepolis!

On September 11, Films on the Green, the Alliance Française of New Orleans and the New Orleans Film Society present a free outdoor screening of Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud’s acclaimed animated coming-of-age film, adapted from Satrapi’s graphic novel. ✨

Persepolis follows Marjane, a young girl growing up in Tehran and Vienna, as she comes of age against the backdrop of the Iranian revolution.

On August 29, Films on the Green traveled to Philadelphia thanks to the Alliance française de Philadelphie to present The Young Girls of Rochefort in Hawthorne Park!

On August 27, the Alliance Française Puerto Rico and the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico presented the first Puerto Rico edition of Films on the Green with a special screening of The Artist, the acclaimed film that won five Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
