PMT offers dance classes in Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Popping, Street Jazz, House, for adults and kids! Founded in 2001, our mission at PMT Dance Studio is to provide students of all levels more than just dance classes, but a unique dance experience in which the student can grow both mentally and physically as a dancer. We look to provide performance and other opportunities that will provide t

hem with the tools they need to become better dancers and immerse themselves in the culture of dance. Finally, we look to give all of our students the proper environment to learn dance with smaller class sizes, more personalized, one-on-one attention to the students, and professional instruction that is very affordable. The student, the learning experience, and dance will always be the first priority to us. The PMT Dance Studio premises is also the home of the PMT Seasonal Showcase Co. - responsible for nearly 20 shows a year including the PMT Seasonal Showcase Company.

Open Level House - Street and Club Styles Training Program 2026

Shan S. was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 31, 1969. Break dancing was his first street dance style in 1984 and his breakin crew name was called the Majestic Rockers. He started dancing house in 1994 and his first house crew was called World Soul. He then went on to join the Dance Fusion NY crew and is now a part of the Mop Top crew. Shan S. is also a Hip Hop and House DJ and Music Producer.

Hear from our former student and now faculty , her experience with the Street and Club Styles Performance Lab 💪

Victoria Sepiashvili is a versatile dancer trained in classical, street, and ballroom styles. A former U.S. National Latin Champion, she represented the United States at the renowned Blackpool Dance Festival. While doing the program, Victoria had practical and theoretical classes, and performed in the Barclays Halftime Show, showing her growth as a professional dancer!

We’re back ✨

Under the guidance of our award winning faculty, students with higher aspirations - including professional ones - will have access to a program that offers an open exploration of the culture, history and training provided in the proper context.

Students will also have the opportunity to perform on a WNBA Halftime show at Barclays Center in August! 🏀✨
