7-8pm: Kit Kin is a singer, songwriter, and artist whose haunting vocals and atmospheric sound seem pulled from dreams in alternate realities. Hailing from a ghost town in the California desert, with time spent in Texas before finding their way to the mountains of Asheville, Kit Kin brings a sense of place, mystery, and movement into everything they create. Now bringing that sound to New York, Kit Kin pairs powerful, otherworldly vocals with mournful melodies and shadowy arrangements, creating music that exists somewhere between dream and reality, beauty and unease.
8-9pm: Jennifer McNamara is a New York-based drummer and composer whose playing brings together the tradition of straight-ahead jazz with the raw energy and attitude of the NYC punk and avant-garde scenes she grew up around. Drawing from a wide range of influences, Jennifer approaches rhythm with both precision and instinct, creating arrangements that can move from nuanced and expressive to driving and unpredictable. Her style reflects the musical contrasts of New York itself, where tradition, experimentation, and edge constantly collide. As both a drummer and composer, Jennifer brings a distinct voice to every performance, balancing jazz sensibility with an adventurous approach that pushes beyond genre and gives the music a character entirely its own.
9-10pm [Featured]: Brennan Sodano is a dynamic drummer, composer, and storyteller whose work is rooted in rhythm, collaboration, and musical exploration. Having studied with and been mentored by acclaimed artists including Lenny White, Matt Wilson, Brandee Younger, Rachel Z, and many more, Brennan has developed an approach that draws from a broad range of musical traditions while maintaining a voice that is distinctly his own. Whether behind the kit or composing, Brennan brings energy, curiosity, and a strong sense of narrative to his work.
