It’s hard to find words to describe what this past week meant to me. Anyone that knows me knows that I have a love for all things Korean and especially Korean food! Back in 2012, through my friend Maangchi I was introduced to KBS and the amazing show Korean Dining Table (한국인의 밥상). I never could have imagined getting the email from Jiwon Han inviting me to come to Korea and film the 15th anniversary special. It was crazy hot during filming but from my co-hosts Jini, Saree (새리) and Robert McIntosh to the production lead by PD가 커피를 내리는 이유, direPD가 커피를 내리는 이유o mention t조피디show host 최수종(CHOI SOOJONG) 최수종(CHOI SOOJONG) 崔 秀 宗술빚는 윤주모 Yun Nara and술빚는 윤주모 Yun Nara) it 이찬원 (LeeChanWon)g family. I was so honored to spend the days with Nara Yun and some wonderful Halmeonis picking vegetables and cooking local dishes. I can’t wait to try and make everything we ate! It was truly a dream come true to visit Korea but even more to be with such amazing people. My heart is full.
