ACOUSTIC+ Concert Series:
This is a new venture for ensemble mise-en, whose programs have typically focused on large ensemble works featuring traditional acoustic media. The small scale of the performing forces needed for the Acoustic+ series’ electronic and multimedia works allows for a gre

at diversity of works on each of the programs rather than being limited to a specific instrumentation or subset of the full ensemble.

We’ve received a generous donation of an (almost) brand-new set of four timpani! We already had one in-house, so we now have five timpani in total. (And if you count our special Tour Timp instruments, we actually have seven!)

It’s quite exciting, and you can see just how pumped Josh is! 🎶🥁 Would you like to use them? 🥰

Have you reserved your tickets yet? As always, all concerts are free, but tickets are required due to limited seating. 🥰

In a time when the world calls for reflection and attention in many ways, we continue to gather through music, conversation, and community.

As June approaches, our festival is taking shape, and we’re excited to share the full program of concerts and symposium events, along with our special panelists. Save the dates: June 15-20!

All events are free, though advance reservations and registration are required due to limited seating.

In the coming weeks, we’ll also be introducing more of the composers and artists joining us. Stay tuned!
