Every 2:ND Friday aids and encourages the public presentation of local and international art in the vicinity of greater Williamsburg, Brooklyn as an integral and necessary component of an ongoing creative dialogue. Toward this end, we promote the art venues of Williamsburg through public programs, advertising and collaborative events that reach out to both the general public and to the visual art community citywide and beyond. Our aim is to bring the dynamic creative activity of greater Williamsburg to the attention of the world. The region continues to grow from it’s traditional hub in the area along the Williamsburg waterfront and extends north to Greenpoint and out to the environs of Bushwick- all areas served by the L train. Join us the second Friday of every month when Williamsburg risk-taking galleries and alternative art spaces spring into action with our monthly WILLIAMSBURG EVERY SECOND: Art After Hours event. Galleries open until 9pm and beyond. Special nighttime goings on include a range of cutting-edge exhibitions, performances and conceptual soirees.
