We are deeply saddened by the passing of Walter Parazaider — a founding member of Chicago and one of the true legends of the music we love so much.

When Leonid was working on his remake of “Hot Streets,” Walter’s brilliant flute solo stood out as a masterpiece. Leonid has always admired his extraordinary musicianship and the unforgettable sound he brought to Chicago.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Walter’s family, his daughters, and everyone who loved and cared for him.

He will be deeply missed, but his music and legacy will live on forever. ❤️
