I want to introduce you my gold tree pieces that are inspired by Egyptian art, to discover if you respond to them, if they touch you in any special way. I am enlarging the scope of my paintings by including people for the first time. This is a major break. I am also placing my anthropomorphic trees in a space that can be interpreted as being either indoors or outdoors. This is exciting to me as in he past I only place my tree forms within a color space. Please see the image of one of my latest works below. It is called "Life in Collioure, acrylic on canvas, 36 x 48," 2019 I hope you sense the fun it was to make this piece. I am selling it for $6000.

I discovered the anthropomorphic trees that I base my paintings and drawings on in Riverside and Central Park. One day I realized the connection between tree limbs and features, and human anatomy. Since then I have found trees in my travels that remind me so much of human beings and human stories. My drawings are made of ground tree bark, charcoal, so the tree drawings are actually made of "trees."
