Personal and social disparities are left at the door. We all can share our love of Flagging and be one community. Dear Flagging community

You are a big part of what makes dance clubs so very spectacular. You bring so much beauty, grace, love and spectacle to any space that you grace. That said the flagging community has been seen less and less at the clubs. There are several reasons that have created this sad state. Club and Venue owners and producers don't embrace us and make there spaces flagger friendly (IE Black lights, a stage) for us. We as a community are not making a loud enough demand for that flagger friendly environment. This combination has created a vicious circle, Flaggers don't go out because the space is not flagger friendly and producers don't make flagger friendly spaces because there are no flaggers. So the object of this page is to start the change in tides. Flaggers showing up en mass to clubs and showing them that the first couple of hours can be transformed from empty space to a beautiful garden of colors and dancing. This is a Flagger Invasion!!! The goal is to keep showing up en mass until producers can be talked to and convinced that it is a great idea to court and invite the flagger community. Let the INVASION BEGIN!!!

Calling all flaggers… A call has gone out from Queen Sugar B. Real, the 2024 Homecoming Queen of Cherry Grove, Fire Island and former Empress of the Imperial Court NYC. She is requesting that flaggers be part of her entourage as she presides over the day of the “2024 Invasion of the Pines” Thursday July 4th, 2024.
