Earlier this week, we visited Blooming Wonders at ARTECHOUSE NYC, and it’s safe to say it’s the type of experience that stays with us.
Set inside a century-old boiler room beneath Chelsea Market, the exhibition uses high-resolution projection, AI, and interactive technology to transform the space into a responsive digital garden. Butterflies scatter. Floors bloom underfoot. The room changes as attendees navigate through it; rather than just looking at the work, you’re inside it.
That’s the part we keep coming back to. Yes, the technology is impressive. But what really lands is the feeling. The sense of curiosity. The way the whole environment pulls people in without having to shout for attention.
And that’s the kind of thinking that matters to us at DH. It’s the kind of experience design we’re always chasing.
