Rosie’s Theater Kids (RTKids) is an arts education organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children through the arts. We serve students who otherwise would not have the opportunity to experience theater, positively changing the trajectory of their lives by providing comprehensive classes in music, dance and drama; thoughtful mentoring; and structured academic guidance. Our goal is to inspire excellence, motivate learning, uplift the human spirit, build confidence, and spark a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

A Saturday in the Hamptons to remember! Thank you to the incomparable Jessie Mueller, our incredible host BD Wong, and RTKids alum Anthony J Garcia for a night of breathtaking music - and to hosts & Steven Weisbrot and Co-Chairs Jan Svendsen Weiss and Leslie Mayer for making it all possible. Cheers to John Anthony Vineyards for keeping our glasses full!

Last week, we had the privilege of taking 20 of our rising eighth-grade students to the Actors Fund Home in Englewood, New Jersey, where they shared a special performance with the residents.

The residents thoroughly enjoyed the show, and our students were wonderful ambassadors for Rosie’s Theater Kids. But what made the day truly extraordinary happened after the performance.

For nearly an hour, our students stayed to talk with the residents, introducing themselves, listening to stories, asking questions, and making genuine connections. Watching young people and older generations engage with such warmth, curiosity, and kindness was incredibly moving. It was a beautiful reminder that the arts don’t simply entertain, they bring people together.
