DanceBoissiere DanceBoissiere is an ensemble of women-identifying dance artists performing the choreography of Jenny Boissiere.

We actively center our stories, in all of their joy and complexities. Through movement, text, and everyday technology, we create dances that invite audience participation and feedback so that we can make contemporary dance more accessible and understandable.

This live music and dance piece explores collective liberation. To build the world we want, express ourselves, live embodied (and in control of our bodies), and stay free, we need each other. We all deserve rest, play, and dignity free from exploitation. We are intimately and intricately connected to each other’s struggles and we have to build together.

This dance features Genna Mattana, Madelyne Clark, Molly Gorin, Sarah Hillmon Sidesinger, Jessica Robling Jackie Batten Sara Crayne-Dedrick Becky Hutt

With original music composed by JD Sky. Kevin Kearney Jr on drums, Malik McLaurine on bass, Andrew McGown on piano, and JD Sky on trumpet. ⁠
