Under the Radar is all about what happens when you put hundreds of creative people in a room together. Now what happens when you add drinks? Come out with us and let’s test it out!

Whether this is your first time behind the UTR curtain or your 22nd (we’re looking at you, Mark Russell), we welcome you to UTR Unveiled to share real joy, cold drinks, hot goss and fresh news about what we’ll be doing with you in January.

The party goes all night, but we strongly encourage you to come early. Bring your own t-shirt, tote, jacket, or other piece of clothing and join us between 8 and 9 PM for live on-site screen printing. We’ll send you home with custom upcycled merch with our exclusive 2027 designs!

Lena Engelstein (lena engelstein) (UTR Commissioned Artist, 2026) in a collaboration with Times Square Arts Public-Artist-In-Residence Maia Chao (MAIA CHAO) remount acclaimed public performance ‘American Idle’ in Times Square this Friday, August 14 at 7 PM and 9 PM.   Can’t make Friday’s performance? The ‘American Idle’ Midnight Moment screens on all the Times Square billboards every night starting at 11:57 PM now through August 31.
