Global Forms Festival starts this Saturday!
Three days celebrating immigrant artists making work in NYC, beginning with a free celebration in Rattlestick’s courtyard.

Argentinian playwright Francisco Mendoza leads a practical workshop and Q&A on navigating the artist visa process - OPT to O1 to EB1 to citizenship - alongside immigrant artists from China, South Africa, and Brazil.

Book and lyrics by Christine Toy Johnson · Music by Cecilia Lin Conceived and directed by Gabriel Barre. Based on “The Lost Daughter of Happiness” by Geling Yan.
FUSONG follows two Chinese women a century apart, bound by a shared destiny - Fusong, kidnapped into San Francisco’s Chinatown in 1866, and Isabel, a novelist confronting banned books and a divided America in 2025. Their lives intertwine into a story of resilience and resistance.
Stay after for FUSONG: Unpacked, a talkback with Christine Toy Johnson and the creative team, moderated by festival curator and producer James Clements.
