Super excited to announce that our dear friend Allison Loggins-Hull will be our Composer-In-Residence for IWCMF this summer! We are massive fans of Allison’s artistry as both a composer and flutist, and look forward to her wisdom as she works with our talented young composers. In addition to Allison, we have an exciting line-up of special guests and clinicians which will be announced along with our schedule. Stay tuned!

I’m truly honored to be featured in this The New York Times article about the great work Gateways Music Festival is doing!

We’re performing Stravinsky’s “Solider’s Tale” and Wynton Marsalis’ “A Fiddler’s Tale” Friday here in Rochester and Sunday at Carnegie Hall. It’s so much fun to share the stage with these incredible musicians! 🎶❤️

IWCMF 2023 is now complete.

What an incredible series of days we spent together at the Juilliard School! Thank you to the staff at Juilliard, and our own amazing Alex Brown and Brianna Garcon for making sure everyone felt taken care of all week long. They literally gave everything they had to the Festival!

Thank you also to all of the guest speakers and masterclass leaders who came in and day after blew up the minds of the participants day after day. And a very special thanks to visionary Monica Ellis for steering this ship to shore ONCE AGAIN.

Participants, congratulations. Keep this feeling all year. You are seen, heard, and APPRECIATED!!! We have been proud to work with you, and look forward to seeing what all of your hard work and thinking will accomplish in the years to come.

It’s starting tomorrow: the 13th Annual Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival at The Juilliard School!

Unfortunately, the opening concert, featuring Imani Winds on July 25th has been canceled and will be rescheduled for another day within the festival. Further details will be shared in the coming days.
