The Virtual Track of the 2026 TYA/USA National Festival & Conference begins in just 2 weeks! Today we are highlighting our first of our 3 Virtual Track webinars: “Resilient Stages: Best Practices for TYA Under DEI Restrictions.” This webinar offers timely, hands-on strategies for sustaining inclusive Theatre for Young Audiences practices in the context of current legislative constraints on DEI. Participants will engage in interactive exercises, reflect on real-world challenges, and leave with practical tools for their own programs. The workshop also uses structured prompts and live feedback to reveal a range of perspectives and approaches, supporting participants’ ability to adapt their practices in a shifting landscape. Ten apprentice theatre-makers will join the TYA/USA team next week in Atlanta to assist with conference wayfinding, set up, and celebration! They will be dressed in red TYA/USA shirts and ready to assist you with your conference questions.

Black River Synopsis
Black River is an afro-surreal family adventure where ten-year-old Jonas, grieving his father's death, is swept into a mythical canoe journey down Wisconsin's Black River. Guided by imagination and strange beings, he navigates love, loss, and the search for closure.
