NYC Tango seeks to bring to the community the most authentic and original Tango experience by offering live music from accomplished Tango musicians and by inviting different Tango teachers/dancers to give classes and perform at our school in order that students may be exposed to a wide variety of styles and approaches. It is our hope to grow the tango community by offering classes at all levels th

at include not only dance instruction, but also the opportunity to learn about Tango etiquette and its nuances, Tango history, Tango musical traditions, and Argentine culture. As part of this objective NYC Tango will also offer the opportunity to travel to Argentina to experience Tango and Argentine culture directly. In order for students and the community at large to experience Tango, not only does NYC Tango offer class instruction, but also designated independent practice sessions and opportunities to dance socially at its Milonga.

Our beautiful community coming together Saturday night during Abrazos Tango Festival 2025! Thank you to everyone who shared time with us during this 3 day celebration of art and learning!

Our hearts are full after an unforgettable weekend of connection, learning, and celebration. Abrazos Tango Festival 2025 was a true labor of love, and it came to life because of you—our community.

To our incredible maestros Vanesa Villalba & Facundo Piñero & Sebastián Bolivar- thank you for your artistry, generosity, and the inspiration you shared in every class and performance.

To our wonderful DJs Cigdem Tanik, Robin Thomas, and Gabriel Gaumond- thank you for filling every tanda with magic and keeping us dancing late into the night.

To our event manager Melody, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly, and to our team of dedicated volunteers who showed up with open hearts and helping hands- we could not have done this without you.
