The Industry Standard Group (TISG) was officially launched in October 2020 by eight collaborators of color who saw the disparity in representation in the commercial producing industry. Since then, it has built strategic partnerships to transform the future of theatre production.
Second Act Theatrical Capital (2ATC) is the first initiative built by TISG to disrupt and innovate on the restrictive models in commercial theatre. Utilizing the SEC's Regulation CF, we have created the only democratized investment portfolio for Broadway, where, for the first time, anyone can buy into the Broadway market and own part of this shared cultural asset. By building up a wider and more diverse base of stakeholders within the field, TISG contributes to the sustainability of Broadway as a whole and expands the runway of patronage to the arts. TISG has new changes to our leadership structure to support strategy, operations, and community growth: Joining Adam Hyndman on the Executive Committee of TISG will be fellow co-founders Sammy Lopez & Rashad V. Chambers. TISG co-founders, Miranda Gohh, Toni Isreal, Rob Laqui, and Cynthia J. Tong will be serving as the Advisory Committee. Isha Gulati, Strategy & Operations Consultant, a Member of the Theatre Producers of Color inaugural Producing 101 cohort, and Cheyenne Myrie, Development & Membership Director, a philanthropic professional with a decade of experience in nonprofit arts and culture, will head up their respective departments. Lance T. mason brings accounting specialties to the group supporting TISG and its subsidiary, 2ATC. We’re so grateful to have such talented and hardworking members bringing Broadway into a new era.
