The Cowboys have officially wrapped up OTAs, but not before giving fans a few more storylines to talk about.
One of the biggest topics remains George Pickens. While he didn't exactly reveal much, his latest comments have only added to the curiosity surrounding his offseason and what his role could look like once training camp begins.
The reality is that Pickens doesn't need to win June headlines. What Cowboys fans care about is what happens when the season starts. If he develops chemistry with Dak Prescott and brings the explosive playmaking ability that made Dallas trade for him, all of the offseason chatter will be forgotten quickly.
Beyond Pickens, the conclusion of OTAs provided a clearer picture of where this team stands heading into minicamp and training camp. Position battles are taking shape, young players are making their case for bigger roles, and the coaching staff is continuing to build the culture they want for 2026.
What stands out most is the emphasis on competition. No spot seems guaranteed, and several players have used OTAs to put themselves firmly on the radar.
Now the focus shifts to the next phase.
Training camp is where stories become reality, hype gets tested, and players either earn their role or lose it.
