we closed our gallery in the 50th street subway this year. 💔 was struck by a car in queens and is still recovering from serious injuries. she’s miraculously okay + healing 🙏 but keeping a brick + mortar didn’t make sense.

we had such a good run in times square.

⏩BUT this isn’t the end: the project was always meant to be transient. we love alt spaces + finding new environments feels like the natural next step. is already in talks on new PWA projects. 😉

We’re “it.” 😉

So proud to have curated Mark Fingerhut’s () Halcyon: The Ride at PWA and with . While it was live in Times Square, people would stop by, visit MoMA, then tell us the ride was better than what was up there… it’s really that cool.

We second it deserves a permanent home—maybe in a museum collection, maybe as a forever-project like DIA’s “dream house.” I love this piece because it’s truly for everyone: instantly immersive but also deeply layered and smart.

Thank you for giving it the spotlight it deserves—especially cool to read your review while I’m on medical leave reading your book. ☺️

Anyway, we feel grateful to be working with such a great community — mark, the full rhizome team, etc etc etc. 🫶

And we’ve been on hiatus, but we’re conceptualizing new projects and spaces to bring this year. Stay tuned.
