DTM started as a Piano Bar Cabaret. Established in 1982, Don’t Tell Mama Piano Bar and Cabaret is world famous as a New York Entertainment Landmark. The origin of the name Don’t Tell Mama is the title of a song by John Kander & Fred Ebb from the 1966 Broadway Musical “Cabaret”

. DTM is located on Restaurant Row in the heart of the Theatre District. An award winning venue, featured in numerous TV Shows from “Friends” to “Saturday Night Live”. Performers who began their careers at Don’t Tell Mama have gone on to become the $100,000 Grand Prize Winner on “Star Search”, win the Emmy, Grammy, Tony, Oscar and the Pulitzer Prize! In 2008, the new owner added more “flavor” to the place opening the Don’t Tell Mama Restaurant.

Originally from Southern California, Adam moved to NYC to study at Circle In The Square Theatre School. He is a 10x MAC Award Nominee for his work as a Tech Director at Don’t Tell Mama. When he’s not behind the light and sound boards, Adam is an actor and award-winning filmmaker. He’s appeared on such shows as The Other Two, Only Murders In The Building, Gotham, and The Good Cop. Part-time gig, technician. Full-time gig, auditioning.
