https://gofund.me/d7d9fccd Our talented community member and man behind the Smalls wall mural, Robert Kendall (aka Communicator) Robert Kendall, the brilliant graphic artist and Smalls Jazz Club resident is in dire strraights. Robert has been in and out of hospitals in the last several years. His severe diabetes is consuming his body. The recent development is the terrible news that he will need to have both of his feet amputated. This will keep him in a wheelchair for the remainder of his life. His current manner of living will have to be changed to accomadate this development. A fund raiser like this is only a bandaide on a much larger problem but at least can give him a start. Currently he is fully destitute. As Robert doesn’t have a bank account, Smalls Jazz Club will handle the fundraiser and make certain that it is distributed to him accordingly.

If you’ve been to the club recently then you might have noticed this work-in-progress by one of our talented community members Robert Kendall 🎨 The club has an array of his work on the walls and if you’ve hung out long enough you’ve probably seen him illustrating or looked around wondering “who’s using a sharpie?” 😆 it’s Rob, he’s brilliant! We are excited to see this wall completed!
