Our students shine at our Teen Week Showcase after they’ve had a week of working with our top-level professionals. We choose songs and monologues that bring out their best of them. Every student leaves with more confidence and more tools to draw their best performance. You or your child will have the experience of a lifetime spending a week with our teaching artists in NYC and performing in our showcase!

There are lots of musical theatre intensives out there, but none offer the combination of top notch arts training and spiritual teaching for Christians that REGA has. Teen Week always has a movement class that teaches our students how to incorporate their whole body into their acting an singing performance. We are beyond blessed to have the brilliant and wonderful Amanda Brewster teach our students every year how to be aware of their bodies when they act so the acting choices they make are expressed through their physicality. The best part of the lesson is that she gives them tools so they don’t feel like they have to psychologically transform into their characters so much that they lose themselves. They can simply make choices about how to use their body that come from their internal choices rather than re-wiring their brains. These are healthy methods we teach at REGA that result in excellence in their performances and make them top-tier artists while maintaining their own sense of identity.

Amanda is not only a licensed massage therapist and trained choreographer with professional acting experience, but she is a prayer and women’s ministry leader at TORCC-NY. She is able to bring together her expertise as a body specialist with spiritual insight about how the Holy Spirit can flow through us as performers.

We love 💕 love 💕 love 💕 hearing our students share about their growth through our program at Teen Week! Not only do they leave as stronger artists, they leave as stronger Christians! And they learn how to bring their faith into their calling as artists. How exciting to witness the next generation rising up to take their place on the Arts Mountain!

At Teen Week our students learn how to hone their acting skills and get one-on-one acting training with our instructors, and with a special Industry guest. The result is always a fabulous performance that shows tremendous growth from Day 1 to Day 5! Watch the brilliant Keren Kassas, (aka KEKA) perform her monologue in our Teen Week 2025 showcase!

Spotlight on our phenomenal teachers! Not only are the at the top of their game in experience and training g, all of our teachers a mature Christians with deep hearts for every one of our students!

Sonia Byrnes worked at American Ballet Theatre for eight years, building their education curriculum, and teaching in their school. She then serve as the Executive Producer for Covenant Ballet for six years, and now lives in New Jersey with her husband, Tim, and is preparing to be a working mom 🐣, as she continues to teach ballet in New Jersey at several schools. We are so incredibly blessed to have her on our board and staff at REGA Arts!

Don’t take it from us - hear it from our students! Teen Week always makes a lasting impact they can take with them into their future as an artist, and in particular, as an artist of faith! This is where the next generation of Christians gets trained to not only break into the Industry, but to bring Christ into the Industry. There’s no religion here, but taking the best of what God has given us, and conveying His goodness and love through our creative gifts. We believe the world needs this!

Get ready for another summer of musical theatre growth!!! Just one week of your life with us in NYC and you will grow in your faith AND as an artist. Learn from the best teachers and coaches in the NYC area, and you will leave a stronger singer, actor and dancer. Furthermore, you will have more confidence in your walk with the Lord as you pursue musical theatre as a calling.
