Baruch College: Next to Normal NEXT TO NORMAL is a completely student-run production at Baruch College.

Our show runs 12/4 - 12/8 in the Bernie West Theatre in 17 Lexington Ave, 9th floor. 7:30 PM curtain all nights. We are a determined group of students bringing a completely student-run production of Next to Normal to Baruch College this fall. After a rewarding run of The Last Five Years in Spring 2017, we hope to continue to breathe life into the Baruch theater scene. Our mission is to give students the opportunity to design, direct, and perform a powerful and intimate contemporary musical.

Hi everyone! Some of our team members at Baruch College at are putting together a staged reading of a play focusing on q***r and trans women of color!

The play O, Earth is a q***r retelling of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town through the lens of modern identities and voices. Casey Llewellyn’s groundbreaking work shines a light on journeys of acceptance, belonging, and “understanding our connections to each other and the world. O, Earth is an investigation of the promise of gay liberation, the politics of marriage, and the radical possibilities of every day.” (http://www.caseyllewellyn.com/o-earth/)
